Edward Willett is the award-winning author of more than sixty books of science fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction for readers of all ages, under his own name and as E.C. Blake and Lee Arthur Chane. His twelfth novel for DAW Books, THE TANGLED STARS, comes out October 18. Other recent titles from DAW include THE CITYBORN and the Worldshapers series (WORLDSHAPER, MASTER OF THE WORLD, and THE MOONLIT WORLD). Ed also hosts the Aurora Award-winning podcast The Worldshapers (www.theworldshapers.com) featuring interviews with other science fiction and fantasy authors about the creative process, and has successfully Kickstarter three anthologies featuring authors interviewed on the podcast. Shapers of Worlds Volume III comes out this fall. Ed is also a publisher. Shadowpaw Press, which he founded in 2018, publishes new work by emerging and established authors and new editions of notable, previously published work. Recent SF titles include Ed’s own Aurora-nominated YA novel STAR SONG and new editions of DUATERO by Brad C. Anderson and THE LEGEND OF SARAH by Leslie Gadallah. He lives in Regina, Saskatchewan, with his wife, Margaret Anne Hodges, P.Eng. They have one college-aged daughter and a much younger black Siberian cat.
