Four past GoHs. One programmer-turned-Dungeon-Master. A time-sensitive search for a lost piece of godhood, before its power runs amok. Join players Marie Bilodeau (author, HELL BORN), Mark Robinson (storm chaser, The Weather Network), DongWon Song (agent, Howard Morhaim Literary Agency) and Arley Sorg (co-editor, Fantasy Magazine) as they venture into the broken world of Aelda, in an original D&D one-shot by author & Can*Con programmer Brandon Crilly.

An Ottawa teacher by day, Brandon Crilly has been previously published by Daily Science Fiction, Abyss & Apex, PULP LiteratureOn Spec, Flame Tree Publishing and other markets. He also reviews fiction for BlackGate.com and serves as a Programming Lead for Can*Con in Ottawa. Panelists (ok, Players…)

Marie Bilodeau is an Ottawa-based author and storyteller. Her speculative fiction has won several awards and has been translated into French (Les Éditions Alire) and Chinese (SF World). Marie is also a storyteller and has told stories across Canada in theatres, tea shops, at festivals and under disco balls.

 

 

 

 

 

Mark Robinson is a Canadian adventurer, storm chaser, and meteorologist. Recently named as one of Canada’s Top 100 Explorers by Canadian Geographic, he is also a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. He has been intercepting hurricanes since 2005, and has documented many major storms including Katrina, Ike, and Sandy. Mark is also an on-air personality at The Weather Network and co-hosts the show “Stormhunters” with his fellow storm chaser and Weather Network meteorologist, Jaclyn Whittal. He is active on social media and you can follow him at @StormhunterTWN

 

DongWon Song is an agent at Howard Morhaim Literary Agency representing science fiction and fantasy for adults, young adult, and middle grade readers as well as select non-fiction. They were formerly an editor at Orbit, a product manager for an ebook startup, and taught as an adjunct instructor in the publishing program at Portland State University.

 

 

 

Arley Sorg is co-Editor-in-Chief at Fantasy Magazine, senior editor at Locus Magazine, and associate editor at both Lightspeed and Nightmare. He reviews books for Locus, Lightspeed, and Cascadia Subduction Zone and is an interviewer for Clarkesworld Magazine. Arley grew up in England, Hawaii, and Colorado, and studied Asian Religions at Pitzer College. He lives in Oakland, and, in non-pandemic times, usually writes in local coffee shops. He is a 2014 Odyssey Writing Workshop graduate.
