We’re very proud to announce the new Can*Con portal, your virtual destination for all things Can*Con!
This members-only portal is available for free – you just need to create an account! Can*Con’s Code of Conduct will still be enforced, to provide a safe community space for meeting new people and old friends, viewing some amazing programming and even writing!
Our Ask an Agent! panel will still be streamed from our YouTube Channel, but panels following this will be streamed behind our portal, so head on over and create your account! Our team will approve accounts within 24-48 hours, so be ready for the next event by doing it now.
Check out our revised Accessibility Policy. If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator. The Portal will be in constant state of improvement, and your feedback helps us make it better.

Join us in The Lounge!
We’ve also created a “hang out” area for socializing and quiet write-in, always available to the community. Think of it like the event venue after hours, where you meet different people and chat, or sit together to write, or discuss your favourite book.
It’s only available to members, and can be accessed HERE (once you’ve logged in).
This room, powered by Wonder, has several sections available, including a writing area, a quiet area, and a shop talk area. We can make more areas! Let us know what you’d like, and we’ll make it happen.
We’ll host some write-ins there, too! Our first will be Sunday, October 18, from 9-11am. Come, put your camera on, mute your mic, and write. Take a break and go chat with some other writerly folk.
That space won’t be supervised, but the Code of Conduct still applies and will be enforced.
Fall Lineup Announcement
Following our Ask an Agent! Panel (on the same stream), we’ll be announcing our fall lineup! We’re looking at a few short events each season, and we’ll keep an eye on community interest and volunteer bandwidth to increase/decrease that event load. We want each event to be special in its own right!
Not every event will be recorded for later viewing, so make sure to check them out live if you can. We’ll record all the ones we can, but want to give our panelists and moderators the flexibility to state their preferences.
